Degrees at LAMP

Depending upon previous college credits, a student may complete his bachelor’s degree with LAMP and continue into the Master’s degree program. We developed the following possible scenarios:

Students with no previous college or less than 20 college credits
a. Upon completion of LAMP’s core program, the student will receive a Bachelor of Divinity (B. Div.), and we will award the student 120 college credits.
b. After completion of B. Div., the student may enroll in the Master of Arts in Ministerial Studies (MAMS), which consists of 30 credits.
c. Admittance into MAMS is based upon completion of LAMP core program (please contact main office for more information).

Students with more than 30 college Credits
a. Upon completion of 120 credits, combining LAMP credits and transferred credits, the student will receive a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministries (BACM).
b. Of the remaining credits from LAMP’s core curriculum, the student will receive a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies (MABS) (Minimum of 30 credits and completion of the whole LAMP core program).
c. Admittance into MABS is based upon approved and transferable credits from a Bible college (please contact main office for more information).

Students with Bachelors Degree
a. Upon completion of LAMP’s core program (120 Credits), the student will receive a Masters of Divinity (M. Div.).

Bachelor of Divinity (B.Div.)
Admission
-Show proof of a High School Diploma or its equivalent and an official transcript from and approved college or university attended (below 20 credits)
-Consent to the Doctrines of Grace
Degree Requirements
-Students must pass each course with a “C”
-Completion of LAMP core program

Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministries (BACM)

Admission
-Show proof of a High School Diploma or its equivalent
- Submit official transcripts from all colleges or universities attended
- Completed 30 hours or more of college coursework
- Have a minimum GPA of 2.5
-Consent to the Doctrines of Grace
Degree Requirements
- Students must pass with a “C” in each course

Master of Arts in Ministerial Studies (MAMS)

The Master of Arts in Ministerial Studies (MAMS) is a “European styled” research degree. It is designed to allow a student to demonstrate ministerial scholarship at an advanced level of study. The student will demonstrate self-discipline and creativity through original research and writing. The student must establish proficiency in a specialty area of study, in which he is required to master the material and subject matter in an original way, thus offering a new approach to that subject which will be of benefit to the Kingdom of God in the advancement of His practical knowledge.
Admission
- Completed 120 hours of coursework from LAMP (B.Div.)
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Consent to the Doctrines of Grace

- Students must mantain a “B” average at LAMP
- Completion of LAMP program

Master of Arts in Biblical Studies (MABS)

Admission

- Completed (BACM) from LAMP
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.0
-Consent to the Doctrines of Grace

- Completion of LAMP program

Master of Arts in Theology and Bible (MATB)
LAMP has received a couple of request regarding women taking the courses for credit and what to do. LAMP is glad to add a Master of Arts in Theology and Bible (MATB) that can be used for any Christian workers training. This Master degree is 36 credits (54 quarter credits or 18 classes using LAMP) and it will consist of the following classes (taken from the LAMP core programs):
